UIC Achieves UKBA Standards
When deciding upon a language school for yourself or your child there are several things you will want to check immediately.
|
London,UK (ePressReleases.org) Jun 26, 2012 - From its quality of teaching to its status as a support for foreign students, there are criteria which can help you assess which school is right for you.
The most recent of these is an accreditation scheme from the UKBA (UK Border Agency) enabling schools to act as Highly Trusted Sponsors, for which UIC London is now qualified.
Until now, accreditation from the British Council, which certifies a school's teaching quality, has been the primary way in which potential students can compare schools. Every four years UIC is examined to ensure it continues to meet the high standards required of the council.
UIC's teaching facilities, a stone's throw from central London's Oxford Street, are state-of-the-art; each classroom is equipped with CD and DVD players, and adapted for the particular learning requirement, whether it is seminar style teaching or more structured classroom based learning.
Furthermore, the experience of UIC's teachers and support team mean they are qualified to help your learning experience meet your particular expectations. Learn more about the school itself and meet the team at www.uiclondon.com.
If you are coming to the UK from overseas it's not just the teaching and facilities of the school which you need to take into account. Have you considered how you will secure a visa for your stay? The UKBA's new measures mean a language school can only act as a sponsor for overseas students if the school has registered to join the Highly Trusted Sponsor scheme.
UIC has been accepted on to the scheme following an inspection from the ISI (The Independent Schools Inspectorate). To ensure the standards are still met, ISI will run further inspections on a three year cycle alongside yearly inspections from the UKBA.
About UIC:-
Founded in 1997, UIC is a London-based language school accredited by the British Council and, newly for 2012, by the UKBA as a Highly Trusted Sponsor. This most recent accreditation gives students a further reason to choose to study a language with UIC.
However, the school also offers other benefits to students. It's based in one of the most vibrant multicultural cities in the world. Whether you come to UIC to learn French or learn Spanish in London you will meet new friends from around the world and have lots of fun, too. The chance to become fully immersed in the city's cultural life, along with the convenience of arranging a visa which UKBA accreditation brings, makes choosing to study at UIC convenient and attractive for potential students.
